LSI PhD Global Exchange Programme in Complex Living Systems
NEW PhD Exchange programme
A new research partnership between Tsinghua University’s and the University of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s Living Systems Institute (LSI): the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ LSI – Tsinghua University Centre for Cellular Life Student Exchange Programme.
This initiative aims to:
- Foster international collaboration between Tsinghua University and University of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ LSI research communities, strengthening global networks in cellular science
- Promote diverse research perspectives, specialised skills development and cross-cultural collaboration
- Provide PhD students with unique opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary research abroad
The first student cohort will be supported in 2026/27. Through this funding opportunity, LSI PhD students will have the chance to spend?up to 3 months?at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, gaining access to world-class facilities and expertise. Tsinghua students will similarly be hosted by LSI faculty supervisors, who will also benefit from enhanced collaboration opportunities with leading researchers at Tsinghua.
